FIFE ARMS HOTEL

A landmark in the Scottish Highlands

Built in the 19th century, The Fife Arms Hotel is a Braemar landmark and is a category B listed building. Its size is evidence of the popularity of Braemar in the wake of Queen Victoria’s visits and her purchase of Balmoral.

We have the extreme pleasure to work for such a wonderful and dedicated team at such an iconic building. At NO Branding, we took on board unusual and highly imaginative guidelines to develop many creative results.

Let’s start with 5 logos

The hotels brand guidelines offer endless possibilities to create outstanding creative implementations. There is not one but five logos to start with, combined with multiple fonts and colours, that represent the historic presence of the ring and its location.

Across the years, we have created hotel brochures, Art brochures to highlight not only the location, but the stunning art featured at the hotel.

Nothing looks the same, yet it all speaks a unified visual language.

Keeping visitors engaged

With its desirable location in a breathtaking scenery, the hotel has many activities such as festivals, fashion weekends and seasonal highlights like the Queens Jubilee and King’s Coronation.

Alongside the beautiful art, poetry is just as important for the Fife Arms Hotel. We designed and produced a reader with a selection of poetic works that focus particularly on the themes of landscape and love created by writers featured within the Fife Arms: Lord Byron, Marion Angus, Nan Shepherd, Sir Walter Scott and Robert Burns. In addition to the poems and images conjured in the booklet, we added a few blank pages to awaken the poet in everyone visiting the Fife Arms.

We also helped design an array of merchandises that are deeply rooted on the hotel’s brand and value offering, making each product a collector’s item.

In addition to electronic proposal templates and exciting new newsletter designs, we helped on the digital front as well.
